papier x giselleium: UI elements in Godot

For today’s pixels + progress episode, I am happy to announce my first collab with Papier, a Godot developer and fellow game dev friend. We dive into how to make simple UI elements within the Godot engine. Check out the video version on my TikTok, @giselleium

One of my favorite elements of game design is the UI aspect. Through games like Animal Crossing and Minecraft, the signature UI was a key part of my childhood memories. Their recognition is what I strive for, to create projects that have engaging, accessible, and recognizable pieces that amplify the user experience.
